Amy Jeffries didn't make it backstage the last time the Chicks were in town so she was bound determined to get back there this time around. To her surprise she found the Chicks were a lot shorter than she thought they would be. Notice she's just as tall as they are and they have heels on!!! Pictured are Martie, Andy (Amy's husband), Emily, Amy, and Natalie.

2006 WLLR-CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL
This was my first time, EVER, to Fan Fair/CMA Music Fest and boy was it worth the wait. I have always wanted to go, being the country music fan that I am, but never had the opportunity. Then this bus trip came along…WHOO-HOO!!!! The nice thing about the fest is that you can do as little, or as much as you want. With my husband along, we managed to do just about everything there was to do. Below you’ll see the lists of people we got a glimpse of, saw in concert or even met in some instances. Tri-State Travel was in charge of all of the arrangements and they did a fantastic job!! Not only did we see the festival sights. We also made it to the Celebrity Softball Game, where we met a ton of stars. We also took in a late night show and afternoon show at the Ryman Auditorium. This is where we saw quite a few of the older county artists like, Little Jimmy Dickens, Porter Wagoner & Charley Pride. As well as newer country singers like Sara Evans, Joe Nichols & Wynonna. The bus also took a trip to the Opry Mills for some shopping and a tour of the Grand Ole Opry. I know, you’re thinking all of that in 3 days??? It’s true!! We just didn’t sleep that much. There’s something for everyone, from the newest of country fans to the more seasoned fan!! I brought home about 325 pictures and developed about 180 of those. You’ll see just a handful of those pictures below. Enjoy and if this trip comes about next year…don’t miss out!!!
